The opportunity:
Looking for candidates to fill entry level manufacturing positions as needed. Employees responsible for helping run high speed carton forming equipment safely, performing preventative and breakdown maintenance, and participating on a safety team and a production improvement team. Responsibilities also include set up and changeover of machines, production paperwork and assisting crew with all responsibilities that assure quality product and efficient production. - Assist in establishing and sustaining a clean and well-organized facility
- Assist in creating a more “proactive” approach towards safety with employee involvement
- Ensure that safe working conditions are observed
- Ability to interact with integrity with the crew and plant leadership
- Must meet company’s safety, quality, and productivity standards
- Interact with improvement teams to resolve production issues
- Continually look for opportunities to improve processes and optimize equipment efficiency
- Standard hand tools provided by the company
What you need to succeed:
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- Willing to work 12-hour shifts. 36-hours/48-hour alternate weeks
- Willing to work night
- Overtime as needed
- Teamwork
