$18.66 - $20.42 / hr

Plus premium for hours worked in the Weekend zone Premium (Friday – Sunday)

Schedule

Weekend Shift

Thursday 10 hours (5:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.)

Friday 12 hours (5:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.)

Saturday night 12 hours (10:00 p.m. – 10:00 a.m.) hours would adjust for sundown time

Clock out for lunch (other days and hours as needed)

Job Summary

McKee Foods is seeking a Service Janitor to join our Environmental Service Department team.

A Service Janitor will be required to clean any equipment or structure as required by supervisor. Work with minimal supervision, prioritize daily work schedule and follow all food safety programs. Employees may also be required to clean rest rooms, offices, and break-rooms, including all trashcans, walls and windows.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

• Cleaning area such as MERA, offices, restrooms, breakrooms, etc.
• Keeping records of tasks
• Operate floor machine (if needed) and knowledge of chemicals to use for cleaning.
• May be asked by Supervisor to do additional tasks in manufacturing or other areas.
• APPLICANTS WITH ALLERGIES SHOULD BE AWARE THAT SOY FLOUR, RAW AND COOKED PEANUTS, ALMONDS, WALNUTS AND POSSIBLY OTHER TREE NUTS MAY BE PRESENT IN THE WORK ENVIRONMENT AND MAY NEED TO BE HANDLED AS PART OF NORMAL JOB DUTIES

Required Qualifications

• Basic computer skills
• Basic Math skills
• Have or able to obtain Scissor Lift License
• Must be able to drive floor machines
• Can work with minimum supervision
• Work within a team environment
• Record keeping skills
• Excellent safety record
• Demonstrate workplace behavior that is consistent with company policies and values

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous Industrial cleaning experience
• Food processing or food manufacturing experience
• Familiarity with industrial/manufacturing cleaning processes and procedures
• Basic knowledge of the function and operation of sanitation equipment
• Training and/or experience in operating lift equipment
• Related training; including blood borne pathogens, confined space, lock out systems, dust hazard, chemical management, etc.
