Wash and sanitize all dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and carts Retrieve soiled trays from patient rooms Clean and maintain kitchen walls and equipment Sweep, mop, and empty trash as needed Deliver food trays to patients when necessary Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the dish room and kitchen Assist in various roles within the dietary department as needed Follow hospital safety and hygiene protocols A desire to work in food service and make a difference Strong customer service skills Team players who can adapt to different roles in a fast-paced hospital environment Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for long periods Comfortable with occasional exposure to heat, steam, and cold Previous food service or customer service experience preferred (6 months) More Than Just a Paycheck.
